The week of April 27 through May 3 covers aquatics and crafting on the quieter end, and a Beatles dinner on the mountain, Ethel Cain at The Orion, and the first Concerts on the Dock of the season at Lowe Mill on the louder end.

Morning Water Exercise
Early-morning aqua fitness using water bells and Pecto Fino resistance equipment. Low-impact, good for cardio and strength. Ages 16+.
Adult Swim
Dedicated lap swim time at the Showers indoor pool. Two diving boards, hydraulic chair lift access. Ages 16+.
Meowy Mondays at the Garden
Bring your cat - on a leash, harness, carrier, or stroller - for a stroll through the Botanical Garden every Monday. A $5 cat admission fee applies on top of regular garden entry. The garden is cashless.
Public Swim
Open swim for all ages at the Showers indoor pool. Heated facility with diving boards and accessible entry.
Noon Water Exercise
Slow-paced joint-focused water exercise to improve mobility, flexibility, and strength. The instructional pool runs at 90°F. Ages 18+.
Water Aerobics at Showers Pool
Up-tempo aerobics class using water bells and Pecto Fino equipment. Good for cardio and strength. Ages 16+.
Stitch & Chat

NETWORK LAUNCH - Huntsville

$5 After 5 PM with Josh Taylor
The Museum's recurring Thursday evening deal: $5 admission to explore the galleries, wine by the glass from Church Street Wine Shoppe (21+), and live music starting at 6pm. This week it's Josh Taylor - a Madison-based fingerstyle guitarist whose style pulls from country, jazz, classical, and rock. Members get in free.
The Castle Council: 5th Edition Improv Comedy Show
Family-friendly (PG) improv comedy show built on D&D 5th Edition rules. You play a citizen bringing a problem to the Hull-A-Baloo City Council; the performers improvise their way through solving it. Thursdays at Shenanigans.

Concerts on the Dock at Lowe Mill - Season Opener with Guthrie Echoes
Lowe Mill's outdoor dock concert series returns for spring 2026 with Guthrie Echoes kicking things off. The series has run every Friday since 2007. While you're there, the 300+ artist studios and galleries are open, and there's food and drink on site. Families and leashed pets are welcome. On-site parking is $10.
British Invasion Dinner at Burritt on the Mountain
Sit-down dinner buffet of British pub classics - fish and chips, cottage pie, sausage rolls, shepherd's pie - paired with a live set from 3 Savile Row, a Huntsville-based Beatles tribute band. Part of the America250 series. Smart casual dress; red, white, and blue is welcome. Full bar available. VIP reserved tables for six also on offer.
On Fridays We Vibe!

Ceramics: Beginning Pottery Wheel Series (Session 2 of 4)
Week two of this four-Saturday beginner pottery wheel series taught by Paul Wieland, co-founder of the Tennessee Valley Ceramic Arts Guild. You'll work on shaping a vessel that gets bisque-fired and glazed. All materials provided; close-toed shoes required. Ages 19+. Note: this is a series - enroll for all four sessions.
TrapxCanvas Huntsville
Nationally touring art-and-entertainment event where you paint on canvas while dancing to trap and hip-hop. Open bar included. Hosted at the SpringHill Suites downtown.
Ethel Cain - Willoughby Tucker Forever Tour
Ethel Cain (Hayden Anhedönia) brings her Willoughby Tucker Forever Tour to The Orion in support of her second studio album. Support from Toronto shoegaze act 9Million. Her Southern Gothic blend of dream pop, Americana, and alt music plays well in an outdoor amphitheater. $1 from every ticket goes to organizations supporting the Trans community through The Ally Coalition.
