π Juvenile hits VBC Thursday, plus cats at the Garden and more this week
May is hitting its stride in Huntsville, and this week has a solid mix of things to do. From a free nonprofit conference at the Von Braun Center to Juvenile bringing the 400 Degreez Band to town, there's a real range this week - something to get you out of the house most days.

Every Monday at the Botanical Garden, leashed cats (or cats in carriers, strollers, and backpacks) are welcome to roam the paths alongside their humans. Regular garden admission applies plus a $5 cat surcharge - yes, they charge the cat.

A monthly gathering for active-duty and veteran military women in the Huntsville area, held in a private back room at the American Legion post. A 45-minute art program for toddlers ages 2-3, walking kids through a short story and hands-on painting inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night. Registration is required, and it's held in the Stender Family Interactive Education Galleries.
